Alianza Familiar Mental Health Department brochure (ca. 1990)
LAH established its mental health program, Alianza Familiar, in May 1985 to address gaps of mental health services for the Latino community. Alianza Familiar is committed to providing culturally and socially relevant, comprehensive mental health services to Latinos of all ages. This brochure advertises its services, including Casa Primavera, a psychosocial rehabilitation program that provides social and prevocational activities to mentally ill Hispanics in metro Boston. In 1990, Alianza Familiar became a free-standing and fully licensed Hispanic mental health clinic. From the La Alianza Hispana records.
