Black Advocates for Quality Education statement (1973)
Among the groups agitating for educational equality was Black Advocates for Quality Education, a group drawn from Freedom House members and conceived as an informational and planning resource for educational activists. One of its principal members was Muriel Snowden, co-founder of Freedom House and the mother of a daughter in the Boston School system.
